Artist's Comments
This is Judy, a friend of mine. When we first discussed me doing a drawing of her I had seen her as Jadis, the White Witch from C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Could see the crown on her head and a frozen forest behind her. I painted the forest and sent it to her to see what she thought and she professed a genuine love of red and fire. So the idea changed.
I had a great time doing this piece and hope she enjoys it as much as I did doing it.   |
