New Deviantart Id, Holiday is always sleeping on my stuff. Have to wake her to grab a new sheet, and she fights me for pencils too. I raised her in my office and cos I spend most of my time chained to this desk, she made it her bed.
It's kind of nice really. We share whatever work I'm doing, we share the intense self loathing I have over my work, we share the awesome tunes I blast as I work... And ever page is given with her "blessing". Usually if she just lets me have it the drawing sucks. If I get a scratch, growl, bite or glare, it's gold. Funny how that works.
Glad I finally had my camera, nice lighting and a sleeping Holicat all at once.
My cat Isis likes to crawl up on my keyboard when she wants attention. It's rater funny because when I am playing WoW she opens a chat window and walks on the keys. When that happens everyone in the guild says hello to her. <snickers>
Thats very cool. Funny how your guild has seen it happen enough times to know its her too.
I don't let Holi walk on my computer. She has already been the cornerstone of one's ruin. I am very careful with it around her now.
While I was still in college I was working late, and had a large glass of Pepsi nearby. I had quite a lot of work I had to do, still, Holi wanted attention and was running about my home office rather half haphazardly. She jumped on my desk, hit the glass of pop and ran behind my laptop before jumping back off. The pop spilled right on top of my keyboard, it made a fizz noise and went dark.
Had to get a new laptop the next day. I let her have the paper, but the computer is the mine.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
