This is our friend Jodie, done as a fairy for fun. As soon as I saw this photo of her I had to add wings and paint her out. Was a real blast to do, even if I had to burn at both ends to get it done before New Years.

Originally I had wanted to present it to her husband and have him slide it under the tree for her. So she'd have it Christmas morning. Didn't work out, with Dave dying, it was hard to focus on things.

I did get it done though and I am very happy with how it turned out. I can only hope she is as well.

This is also the last drawing for 2008. It has been a very difficult year for me. I sincerely hope after tomorrow some good times are ahead. I am ready to start looking back into my art as a professional again, and am hoping this new year will yield me something in my field. Something where I can really open my wings and fly with the eagles.

Thank you so much, was a long time coming, and it turned out better then I had hoped. When I gave it to her, her lip quivered. Was really nice. She was expecting a basic pencil sketch.

Kind of a happy ending to an otherwise terrible year. Need to get off my ass and do something new for this year. I have so many things to do, I feel overwhelmed. I'm sure I'll work through it.

Hey, I noticed that Nerris is gone from the server. Did you move her?

And I hope this year is better for you. Fresh start and all that, right?

I did move yes, hit one more piece of drama and I was gone. Had enough and left.

I am having fun in my new realm, it was like a fresh start.

2009 has been fairly rough so far, but I figure it will loosen up.

Aw, that's too bad. :( What happened? I'm glad you found a good place to go though. WoW should be fun, not a chore.

I've been good. Me and Gris are nearly done putting the site together. We're looking to recruit very soon.
