Been sitting on this for a while. Not wanting to let the cat out of the bag prematurely. I feel its time to say what everyone close to me already knows. I am getting back to what I have always wanted to do. I am getting back into sequential art. With gusto.
This time at bat is very different from my previous endeavors, and I feel it shows. I have more experience with digital art now and I know not to rush things. I know to take it slow and to feel confident in my idea and myself. I also have someone I really believe in taking my ideas and giving them one hell of a nice polish. He has taken a simple idea and made it into something special. He makes my cheese ball shit sing pretty and feel like fine art.
I will be opening Nova Scotia's first comic company in June. It will have a local name and feature a flagship book based right here in the Maritimes. In the Halifax of tomorrow.
The book, called the Midnight Stalker, is a reboot of my tried, tested and successful Stalkers-Online concept, with a real world twist. The stories will have serious repercussions with staying power from book to book such as bullet wounds, broken bones, black eyes and sleep deprivation issues. We will see her evolve from Jane Doe to someone special through trial and error.
As soon as we have enough content to begin printing books we will be doing it through print on demand. We're hoping the local feel will attract Maritimers and the down to earth storytelling and realistic approach to a vigilante will pull in the rest.
We have a professional graphic designer working on a logo and title. A web artist making a beautiful site and have plans to put up ads on Eastlink and try for the Metro Transit. Going to be quite exciting I think.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
